Having played many years in the Seattle pop music scene throughout the late
80's and early 90's, I have seen the Posies in virtually every incarnation
and every size venue ranging from tiny bar to a huge auditorium.  

Much to my envy and yes, professional jealousy, they were always spot-on,
always in great voice, and always put on a wonderful show.  We were lucky
enough to play before Jon at David Bash's Seattle IPO event this summer,
and, once again, I was stunned by Jon's fantastic voice. I don't want to
start a big to do or anything, but as a large guy myself, I thought the
comment about his size was a cheap shot.

What years were you in Philly from (or perhaps you're still there)? I  
lived in South Jersey and/or Philly till the mid 90s and attended  
school at Drexel from 84-89 and dj'd at WKDU that whole time and a  
year or two afterwards as a fill-in. Spent most of my nights at the  
Cabaret, Revival, Bacchanal, Dobbs, Troc and Khyber (mainly) seeing  
shows or just going to Dirty Frank's or McGlinchey's to drink.
