Rest easy, Farrar H.  I don't like Lily Allen either and I'll openly 
admit to never having heard her.  My reasoning:

1. She has a famous parent -the grotesque under-achieving acting 
"talent" Keith Allen - not sure if you'll have heard much of him in the 
states.
2. She comes across in public as a spoilt brat , hitting out at people 
with her stilletos because she never won a single award from her four 
Brits nominations.

Illogical?  Yes of course, but I like Kiss, so who says logic has to 
enter into it?
