It's taken 11 years, but the Carpet Frogs have returned with their first new studio album since 1995's debut "Frog Curry". The solidified permanant line-up of Nick Sinopoli, Michael Zweig, Dave Love, Jeff Jones and Sean Fitzsimons have been busy over the last decade backing the likes of Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings, including an historic appearance from the Canadian stage of the LIVE 8 world concert broadcast. The new recording carries on the band's tradition of melding British invasion styled pop with contemporary power pop songcraft. Fans of the previous Frogs release, Squeeze, Crowded House and The Beatles will love "Pretending To Fly". http://www.bullseyecanada.com/product.php?product_id=1979 Jaimie Vernon, President, Bullseye Records http://www.bullseyecanada.com SWAG: http://www.cafepress.com/bullseyecanada BULLSEYE LIVE 365 RADIO: http://www.live365.com/stations/bullseyerecords Author, Canadian Pop Music Encyclopedia http://jam.canoe.ca/Music/Pop_Encyclopedia/ http://www.myspace.com/jaimievernonsmovingtargetz _________________________________________________________________ http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=43.658648~-79.383962&style=r&lvl=15&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=3702663&cid=7ABE80D1746919B4!1329
