And they've been doing this since before they broke open on album #3. Green Day's getting great exposure doing what they do...and there's a definite payoff for them. But if you're talking global domination to the level of the Stones or whoever, that'll take more years of being in control of their fate, catering musically and stylistically to the masses and marketing themselves to the world demographic above the 14-24 year olds who currently dig them. In other words...they must sell themselves as a brand.
