Try Erin Bode's album OVER AND OVER.  She's nominally a jazz singer, 
but she sounds more like early Everything But the Girl to me.  Her 
song "With the Radio On" was one of my favorites from last year.

She's also very likely to dig Corinne Bailey Rae.
