I'm so glad you said this, because such ideas about what is and isn't pop
have swirled around me for my entire career. Pop is a very broad term. I
make music that isn't power pop per se, but my association with the Sun
Sawed in 1/2 and the fact that a lot of power pop freaks think my music is
cool brings it under that umbrella.

The terminology is intensely subjective and not worth fighting over. Let's
dance, indeed!
