I must say that it's been a treat viewing everyone's lists the past few weeks. It's interesting to note that this may be the most diversified set of lists from everyone on Auditees that I have seen since this forum began. I'm really curious to see which artists will end up in the final Auditees year ender. So many choices and it's tough to see who will rise to the top this time around. I never got around to posting last year and was worried that I'd run out of time again so I'm taking the easy way out by posting the most played albums on the airwaves where I work. I realised how lucky I was to enjoy playing these artists last year at work and in my car and at home. Here's the link: http://thetimemachineradioshow.blogspot.com/ Not all powerpop (as many others have stated on their lists as well) but it's what I heard last year. Looking forward to listening to a number of 2006 releases that I have to run across. Here's the list including two nice ELO like albums from L.E.O and Alternativa: UNDER THE COVERS VOL. 1 - Susanna Hoffs and Matthew Sweet GRATEFUL - Marla Sokoloff MONDO MAGNETO - Brian Ray MORE SONGS ABOUT CARS AND GIRLS - Marty Rudnick 'TIL IT BLEEDS (EP) - Courtney Jaye THE SKIES OF AMERICA - Shine STORIES FOR COPPER - Dave Stephens WHO I AM - Alice Peacock REAL - Kristin Hoffmann ALPACAS ORGLING - L.E.O. Killer song. On a similar note, Brian Ray will be a guest on my radio show this Saturday at 2PM in Hawaii. His slot is roughly two hours so there should be a story or two about what it's like to be in Paul McCartney's band for the past five years. East coast based singer-songwriter Amanda Kaletsky will also be on the program.
