Speaking of Semisonic, I'm about 1/2 way through drummer Jacob
Slichter's book called "So You Wanna Be a Rock & Roll Star: How I
Machine-Gunned a Roomful of Record Executives and Other True Tales from
a Drummer's Life."

For anybody interested in the music business, this is a must read. It
really shows the politics and financial non-disclosures of the music
industry and how ruthless major labels are. Jake's a pretty good writer
and it's the most enjoyable music related book I've read in ages.
