Indeed - I'm relieved that I went to see James Brown and his band when 
they played at Rams Head in Baltimore earlier this year.  He didn't 
have a heck of a lot of energy and his dance moves were pretty 
limited, but he seemed to be giving it his all, his voice was just 
fine, and the band was really tight, as you'd expect.

It goes without saying that his music will live on for a very, very 
long time.
