This appears to be happening all over the continent, actually. In Toronto we 
have a series called Classic Albums Live run by a gent named Craig Martin -- 
they've done everything from the complete note-for-note Sgt. Pepper 
(including 20 piece orchestra on "A Day In The Life") to Nirvana's 
"Nevermind" to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" to Van Morrison's 
"Moondance". All with all-star players and vocalists.

We borrowed several players from their 'White Album' re-enactment when we 
had our "It Was 40 Years Ago Today" Beatles tribute CD release party at the 
Hard Rock Cafe in 2004.

I wish Bill Lloyd and the gang best of luck. People really dig these 
recreations...especially when the original acts are either gone or not 
touring anymore.
