My thoughts exactly... a rule of thumb is: all their albums with the "no synths" note are the good ones. When I finally got a hold of I and II (mid 80's) they also became favourites, II being more consistent, IMHO. Sheer Heart Attack is a great harder rock album... But for some odd reason I didn't spin it too often... The Game is the interface... Two good songs "Crazy little thing..." and "Save me"... which I think were "no synth" '79 singles then included in the The Game, which is better known for "The Game" and mostly "Another one bites the dust"...bahhh... I still bought some of the following lp's hopping there'd be a inflexion in output quality, Flash Gordon, no good, "Hot Space"...with "Las palabras de amor"...that did it for me... CUT! Maybe Innuendo did have its moments... but I never bought it... Paulo >70s Queen - up to and including "The Game" - all downhill from "Hot Space" >onwards IMHO > >From Father to Son to Save Me... what a sequence of fantatstic genre-bending >eclectic rock! > >Long live the Queen!
