LONG PROMISED ROAD: THE SONGS OF DENNIS AND CARL WILSON LIVE by Adam Marsland's Chaos Band (featuring Evie Sands and special guest Alan Boyd) is finished.
 
I just posted an extensive blog at www.myspace.com/adammarsland about the track listing and ordering of the album.  For those that don't have time to have a look, here are the bullet points:
 
-- The album is at the pressing plants.  The album cover is viewable as our myspace profile photo.  (Today is also the last day to hear an outtake from the album, our cover of "Heroes and Villains", at our myspace page)
 
-- The album won't be "officially" released until next year, but any pre-orders we receive by December 15th will be in your hands by Christmas.
 
-- We will start taking preorders on the album on Thursday or Friday (at our myspace page and at our online store at www.adammarsland.com).
 
-- The album contains 20 tracks, 14 of which are Carl and/or Dennis originals, plus Evie's punked out version of her hit "I Can't Let Go."
 
-- Our cover of the unreleased, unbootlegged Dennis Wilson track "Wouldn't It Be Nice To Live Again" WILL be on the album, as will "Carry Me Home" and Evie's unrecorded track "Don't Look Back (Don't Look Down)."
 
-- The album is mastered by PACIFIC OCEAN BLUE/Brother Studio engineer Earle Mankey from Mark Linett's excellent recording of our live show.
 
-- We will be able to take worldwide orders, via credit card and PayPal.
 
-- We're offering a special twofer deal for preorders before Dec. 15:  We will throw in a copy of my YOU DON'T KNOW ME or 232 DAYS ON THE ROAD albums (your choice which one) for $5 extra.
 
-- The initial run of the album is only 1,000 copies.  We will make the decision whether to do a second run based on the initial success of the album and other factors.  There is the chance that we will only run 1,000, so better to pick it up sooner rather than later.
 
-- The album sounds GREAT.
