I haven't followed this thread closely so forgive me for duplicating. I'll chime in saying that Ahmet & Dweezil Zappa did a great cover of ‘Baby One More Time’ by Britney Spears. I can't stand the original but I like that version. :-) I also adore Devo's version of ‘Satisfaction.’ (Local humour: Britney Spears put the ‘hoa’ in ‘Tangipahoa.’) As for worst covers, I'm not sure, but I would say anything off of ‘Mrs. Miller's Ultra Lounge’ would fit the bill.
