Those Cucumbers (Jon Fried and Deena Shoshkes) are indeed the same 
Cucumbers.  I've seen them live several times over the past 20 years. 
In their heyday (late 80's, when "My Boyfriend" had some regional 
success), I saw them in Philly at the Chestnut Cabaret.  More recently, 
they played in my dining room, and I saw them a couple years ago when 
IPO came to Hoboken (Maxwell's is their home turf).

Oh yeah, I love their music.
