OK, there oughta be a law. One of the great things about the world of digital download is that an old tune pops into my head, and I can go to the iTunes music store (or whatever) and grab it up legally for 99 cents. However, sometimes in my haste of the impulse purchase, I'll buy a track and find that it's been RE-RECORDED by the artist. I can only surmise that their original contract left them with little or no royalties, and this is a way to milk some cash from the system. So, maybe there oughta be a law to protect artists against getting ripped off, and in turn protect the fans from these lame counterfeit tracks. OK..I feel better now. Marty
