Hey Gene,
 Yes in a big way. I grew up very near the old Met stadium and even 
worked there. I've been a fan all my life. Like most here, this is a 
team I wrote off before the season started. It has turned into a very 
fun team to watch per the young players exceeding expectations. If 
Liriano hadn't gone down with an injury, I would love our chances to 
win it all (call me crazy but he "lights out", was pitching better 
then even Santana). Radke goes down and we still hang around and now 
he's attempting an amazing come back. Break out seasons for Mauer and 
Morneau. Hunter is hitting again. Punto goes from being an average 
player and second baseman to being a very fine third baseman. It goes 
on and on with almost every position. Really an easy team to love. 
This has been a remarkable season no matter what happens, even if 
Oakland sweeps (but I think we've got a shot).
