I discovered New Pornographers and Franz Ferdinand, and re-discovered Joy Division. (Yeah, yeah, yeah ... I know I'm out of touch. Sorry.) Mostly, though, Pandora.com has introduced me to albums I hadn't heard, even though I knew the artist. Example: I'm no massive Elton John fan, but I heard a couple of cuts off of "Tumbleweed Connection" and picked that one up. BTW, anyone know about the possible re-mastering of "Shaming of the True" by the late Kevin Gilbert? I heard a rumour about that a couple of years ago but haven't heard anything since. -Farrar Hudkins On 9/27/06, Ron Katcher wrote: > I have been using Pandora (www.pandora.com) for a the past several months > and find it to be a terrific way of discovering new artists who are (and > some who certainly are not) within my preferred styles of music.
