Daydream Believers was one of VH1's first efforts at making a TV movie of its own. Since the network only wound up making a few TV movies, I'd guess it wasn't a successful venture overall. (cut / edit) *** I reply: Thanks, CC, and right you are, of course! I finally did get myself straightened out on this thing, with help from many of you (Michael Kropp! Yo!). I'm going to find that "Hey Hey We're the Monkees" Disney TV doc on DVD, for sure. Thank to Gary PG. for the book tips also, I'm all over that stuff. Hoping to find the Sandoval book for "cheap" if possible, somewhere. Allow me to re-recommend the "Monkeemania: True Story of the Monkees" book. Inexpensive and fairly good, really. Got mine from an authorized B and N seller for less than six bucks total. I thought my Monkees post was definitely lost in the iPod flood. There seems to be very little common ground when it comes to this technology, which surprises me. Perhaps it shouldn't, as ubiquitous as it is, etc. Peace to all my podded and unpodded brothers and sisters. :-) jeff t.
