I got 3 or four issues of my Trouser Press magazine subsription after
about a year of buying it on the newstand when I could find it.  But I
definitely remember that my subscription was finished out with Musician
magazine.

Which, to bring the discussion back around, I believe was Billboard's
attempt at a more general-audience music magazine. Not very long-lived
as I recall. I know I didn't renew my subscription.

Damn, I still miss Trouser Press. I've never yet found any music
magazine that fits my musical tastes so well. I know a lot of people
have very fond memories of Creem, but it's always been TP that hits that
sweet nostalgia spot for me.
