I played the new Sprngsteen once, in the car with my wife, and we couldn't 
get through it.  (This was after we couldn't get through the new Neil Young 
and Paul Simon discs, although I can say subsequently that the Simon starts 
slow but picks up.)

But really, I've had it up to here with Sony.  Their damn dual discs won't 
play in my CD player-- which wouldn't rankle as much if not for the fact 
that the CD player is a relatively new, higher-end Sony.  The last 
Springsteen, I had to burn myself a copy to play it.  Fortunately Sony 
didn't copy-protect it...
