Jeff,

You might check out the Neuros audio player ... it has massive hard
disks available(80Gb is the biggest I've seen though), and you can
record uncompressed .wav audio directly into the machine. I (an
ancient audiophile at heart) plan on getting one when I have the cash.
In the meantime, I put my vinyl onto CD for listening at work and in
the car as you have done, and it sounds brill-smegging-illiant. ;)
