I saw Chris Spedding perform with Robert Gordon in '79 (Lupos in Providence),
and though I came away more a Spedding fan the show was nothing less than
spectacular - 3 sets with Spedding doing his Hurt material in the middle.
Their version of Black Slacks was a jawdropper.

Today I stumbled (click begatting click, click, etc) upon a story that
the 2 will
be making new studio recordings in Nashville starting the end of this month.

They toured this past Feb and are selling cds & a dvd from the tour. No Black
Slacks though :(  They're hitting the trail again in July - mostly
Europe except
July 1 in Orange County.
