>From: Joe Rivera > >I've had this for a couple months now - it's AWFUL, IMO Wow! How's that for direct feedback to the artist? Maybe Joe doesn't know that Thom is a member of the Elms? But on the other hand, nothing wrong with honest opinions I guess. I've also owned this for a few months, based upon my strong favorable reaction to the last 2 CD's. This is a major departure away from the sound the band had on those releases. They seemed to have buried almost all of their pop sensibilities in a wall of loud guitars. Sorta like the new Tsar CD. If that's the sound they wish to pursue, more power to them It's just not a sound the majority of Auditees is gonna dig. I won't say it's "awful", but I will say it is very far removed from my taste, another band I've taken off my "must-buy" list. For the band's sake, I hope it makes them famously rich and wealthy.
