More importantly -- what about McClennan's solo work?
For my money, his 1995 LP "Horsebreaker Star," was one of the best  
records of the 1990s, and it
ranks at or near my list of favorite records of all time. Its 1997  
follow-up "In Your Bright Ray," was also aces.
For that matter, I also have longstanding affection for the two Jack  
Frost LPs he did with Steve Kilbey of The Church.

And, for the record, I agree on "16 Lovers Lane."
