The expanded reissue of a great album by the most 
inappropriately-named band of all time is brand new on eMusic: NOT 
EVEN PRETTY + by Vomit Launch.  Vomit Launch were part of the same 
late '80s scene that spawned Barbara Manning (they cover her "Every 
Pretty Girl" here) and the Cat Heads, and they're very much in that 
style: spiky indie-pop with female vocals, scratchy/jangly guitars and 
a heavy Tall Dwarfs/Clean/early Chills influence.  They were a 
fantastic band saddled with a hideously inappropriate name that made 
them sound like some kind of grindcore act, and if you've got 19 
credits to spare, I highly recommend this.
