I wasn't around for the original releases, but I eventually picked up
on the Moody Blues when they re- (and re-) released on CD. My
favourites are

To our Children's Children's Children;
Days of Future Passed;
On the Threshold of a Dream; and
Every Good Boy Deserves Favour.

I realise that EGBDF one was pretty lackluster even for MB, but it
contains "The Story In Your Eyes" which to me is a good one.
