While I read that Wired interview, with Michael Nesmith, (the Monkee WASN'T in the American Idol audience the other night) I was just thinking that old wool hat is exactly the kind of visionary and digital entrepeneur that Todd, sadly, never quite materialized into. Then I noticed that Jaimie Vernon had posted that exact same thought. So here's a ditto. I will say, however that I remain a true fan of Mr Rundgren's music and that he was also very generous and sweet to me on the few occasions I've spoken with him. You can't say he didn't try, and let's face it who else, besides Nesmith or maybe Prince, was speaking up about digital delivery before 1998? Paul.
