What's interesting is that before KISS re-united for their six-year-long final tour in the late '90s. there was only "Double Platinum" and three "Alive" releases. With the release of the double CD set called "Gold" at Xmas, there are now 8 Kiss "best of" packages on CD...at least what I've seen. However, I think in its heyday the Guess Who may have the record for re-packages because after every three records RCA would issue another volume of 'hits'....competing alongside the original 1960's Bachman owned Guess Who albums from the Quality Records years...which would also be repackaged and sold as compilation material. That was 10 years worth of studio albums with five 'best of' packages and the early years compilations.
