If they called themselves Utopia 2K and recorded an album of songs like 
"Just Not Tonight" and called it PIMP MY RIDE I'd enjoy it as a successor to 
DEFACE THE MUSIC. But they're mimicing the songs and cadence and selling 
overpriced New Cars merch. It's not a clever homage, it's a revival of the 
act with key components missing...like Credence Clearwater Revisited vs CCR.

No complaints about famous musicians making money, and anything that gets 
Todd to rock more is OK by me. I guess I'm back to thinking that naming it 
Autopia or NazzCar would have been better (although the Nazz fans would 
bitch...where's Stewkey??)

I'm sure I've missed it, but someone must have panned a show with the 
headline "New Cars Smell".
