If I wanted to show our Martian friend what I thought was the big deal about The Who (as opposed to what others thought), the only one of these later Who tracks I'd play would be "Won't Get Fooled Again;" the tracks you cite may be more indicative of what The Who wanted to be, but I prefer virtually everything on the Meaty Beaty Big & Bouncy collection (for example), plus "A Quick One While He's Away," "The Good's Gone," "Call Me Lightning," "La-La-La-Lies," "I Can't Reach You," etc. And I'd play both "I Can't Explain" and "The Kids Are Alright" twice, just to make sure the Martian digs 'em.
