I don't think Stewart was knocking all reunions -- he is justifiably cynical and dismissive of the New Cars. These guys can do what they want, which comes off to me as craven and insincere, and some folks will show up and many more will treat The New Cars like Basic Instinct 2. While Queen-ish is a good description, Sparks was an influence on Queen back in the day, not the other way 'round.
