Well, there goes my Monkees 'equator discussion'. Pre or post- Headquarters, anybody? This CD's a few months old, so I guess it's not hot off the presses new, but Supergrass' 'Road To Rouen' is fantastic. The mood is a better mellow, but after a few plays it really sinks in. Saw them at the Paradise in Boston recently, and they played most of the new CD. As always with Supergrass live, a great performance. >----- ------- Original Message ------- ----- >From: :audities@smoe.org >To: audities@smoe.org >Sent: Thu, 6 Apr 2006 12:14:08 > >Any *NEW* music worth talking about? > >FYI, the new Rhett Miller is pretty fine (more >straightforward pop than the >Old 97s) Not sure if it's better than The >Instigator...but close. > >Also...loving Morningwood, new Grandaddy, and The >Editors. >Green & Yellow TV's "Sinister Barrier" could be my >fave of the year so >far.
