April 6, 2006 will be proclaimed Ian "Mac" McLagan Day in Austin, Texas by 
Mayor Will Wynn.   He is scheduled to perform one song in the council 
chambers at City Hall at approximately 5:30 p.m. After performing one (1) 
song for the Mayor, Council members, and guests he will receive a 
Proclamation from the mayor declaring it his day in Austin.  The City 
Council meeting airs live on Cable Channel 6, so tell all your family, 
friends and supporters to watch and don't forget to set your VCR!

City Hall is located at 301 West 2nd Street.  Free parking is available 
underground by entering the garage from Lavaca Street.  Please head north on 
Lavaca Street from Cesar Chavez, keep in the far left lane and enter in the 
only entrance before you get to 2nd Street. Once in the garage, take the 
elevator up to the main floor (1st) and enter the front of the building, go 
through security and then find a seat in the council chambers to enjoy the 
performance.
