Along with his brother (Epic Soundtracks) he was a member of seminal punk (or postpunk...whatever) group the Swell Maps and later formed the Jacobites and their many incarnations (French Revolution). He later released several solo records . Alternating among punk, acid folk, neo psych and many other genres he put out records on Rough Trade, early Creation records and probably many more I am omitting. The bulk of his stuff has been reissued on Secretly Canadian Records including the Exile on Main Street sounding material he did for Creation. I hope that helps. -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Josh Chasin" > Could someone tell me who Nikki Sudden is, so I can feel appropriately bad? > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Larry O Dean" > To: > Sent: Monday, March 27, 2006 3:01 PM > Subject: Re: Nikki Sudden is Dead > > > > From Billboard: > > http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=10022 > > 36579 > > And the official NS site: > > http://www.nikkisudden.com/ > > Larry O Dean writes: > >> No more Epic Soundtracks, now no more Nikki Sudden.
