Youtube is an OK starting point, but soon you'll find sites/blogs/p2p do a much better job of the pop culture video stuff. Plus you can't save via youtube. WFMU's Beware of the Blog is a superior source IMO. I've asembled so much music related video because it's just a few mouse clicks - I haven't even watched 25% of it yet. What would be great is to catalogue what's out there. hmmm..., project # 217 :) BTW, if anyone finds a copy of the Snak Pak commercial with a sterotypical early 70's mom riding around on an eggbeater repeating "I'm somebody's mom", please contact me ASAP. Most surreal ad I've ever seen. Tip: if you use Firefox, and you download, get the extension "Download Them All". Via easy to configure filters, you can download all videos, mp3s, jpgs/gifs, etc from a particular URL. - michael - michael
