Caught The Rembrandts at B.B. King's in NYC last night. What a sad spectacle. Danny Wilde was drunk and ruined the show. He couldn't even remember the words to "Just The Way It Is, Baby" - I bet one hundred members of this list know the words to that song by heart. They had false starts to songs, and Danny apologized about his wasted state several times including after his  guitar had the wrong tuning because he forgot to put the capo on. Doubly sad, because during the moments when the band sounded good, the harmonies and guitars were amazing. But mostly they sounded off key.

Opening were Jesse Valenzuela and Craig Northey who put on an apparently sober set. They played songs of theirs, and a nice cover of "Teacher, Teacher". They mentioned that their CD release has been delayed to 3/14, so the gig, planned for months, was poorly timed.
