The brunette in the white jeans was Leslie Feist.  The blonde in the 
Rolling Stones shirt was Emily Haines, the leader of Metric.  (I 
believe every single person in BSS, including the two principals, has 
another band of his or her own.)

Been singing their praises for a while.  They're just as exciting live 
as they are on TV -- I've seen them twice so far, with a very 
different lineup each time, but both times were just as energetic as 
that.
