Marah, who are blazing through clubs in support of my #1 album of 2005, IF
YOU DIDN'T LAUGH YOU'D CRY...don't let the early Bruce/EStreet rumors sway
you (though there is that "the show is all that matters" energy EVERY
NIGHT); it's that kind of urban heart/soul but with a more Faces/Mats edge.
Brilliant songwriting (Nick Hornby says it restored his faith in
rock'n'roll). Certainly not a show for the twee-popper, but you'll see how
classic influences from The Ronettes to The Ramones filter through.
Warning - you may become an addict.

Disclaimer - I do not work for them, their label, their management and I'm
not related. I was blown away when I first saw them touring behind KIDS IN
PHILLY in 2000 and I haven't changed my mind since. And they've never
sounded better - the new drummer and lead guitarist added last year were
both in Squad 5-0 and bring a lot to the table.
