There are a couple of shows in LA happening tonight, in which I think some 
L.A. Auditeers will be interested:

1. At 9:00 at The Temple Bar, Norwegian singer/songwriter Robert Post will 
be playing.  You may have read a post (pun intended) by Mark Hershberger 
raving about this guy for his super hooky, very polished, pop songs, and his

excellent self-titled album on Mercury Records.  The Temple Bar is located 
at 1026 Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica.  You can check out some Robert Post

2. At 11:15 at The Cat Club, you've got Magic Christian, the band from The 
Bay Area featuring Flamin' Groovie Cyril Jordan, Alec Palao of The 
Sneetches, as well as Baypop organizer and most excellent lead vocalist Paul

Kopf.  They are a very cool live band, with a sound that's a perfect cross 
between The Flamin' Groovies and The Stones.  The Cat Club is located at 
8911 Sunset Boulevard, inWest Hollywood.  You can check out Magic Christian
