Number one on my list would have to be finally moving to Austin after years of procrastinating. Number two would have to be grilling out on Christmas & New Years for the first time in my life. Now onto the music: Out of the 139 2005 releases I have, I was hard pressed to find 20...not the best year for music. 1. Chixdiggit - Pink Razors (In a year where I listened to a lot of wimpy/mellow music, this disc kept me from feeling old) 2. Okkervil River - Black Sheep Boy (for the full effect, get the Appendix EP) 3. Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake It's Morning 4. South San Gabriel - The Carlton Cronicles 5. Alkaline Trio - Crimson 6. Louis XIV - The Best Little Secrets Are Kept 7. Milton Mapes - The Blacklight Trap (Waiting For Love To Fail is a favorite of the year) 8. Aqualung - Strange & Beautiful (Brighter than Sunshine is another favorite) 9. Decemberists - Picaresque 10. Redwalls - De Nova 11. Hold Steady - Separation Sunday 12. Portastatic - Bright Ideas 13. Shivaree - Who's Got Trouble 14. Spoon - Gimme Fiction 15. Mando Diao - Hurricane Bar 16. Limbeck - Let Me Come Home 17. Shout Out Louds - Howl Howl Gaff Gaff 18. Bloc Party - Silent Alarm 19. Bright Eyes - Digital Ash In A Digital Urn 20. Feist - Let It Die Dan FrankE __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
