Back in 2002 David Werner co-wrote and produced the Marc Copely debut called Limited Lifetime Guarantee. I thought it was a wonderful CD. Had some nice fun guitar rockers like "Magic Box", and lots of subtle intricate harmonies and layers in the backing on other tracks. You can find it in most any cutout bin now, and a quick check of amazon marketplace had it listed for a penny. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything current about any of these folks: 1. Bruce Woolley & The Camera Club - s/t (called English Garden in the UK). He's the guy that co-wrote Video Killed The Radio Star, with his own version appearing on this 1979 Columbia release that predated The Buggle's definitive version. This was an odd album, but appealed greatly in that it was extremely varied in style and had about, oh, a million hooks. Never released anything else I'm aware of and I haven't heard anything more about him since. 2. Scott Wilk & The Walls - s/t. Released in 1980 on Warner Brothers, he was compared to Elvis Costello in vocal quality, but this was just a keyboard-driven pop album that still sounds good today. Likewise, never heard anything from him since then. 3. David Werner - s/t. released in 1980 (as I recall), he had earlier done two glam albums on RCA in the early to mid 70's. Whizz Kid was the far better of the two and was a strong effort (Imagination Quota was the second release). But it was his foray into New Wave where he hit his stride. This album is still in my books one of the catchiest, guitar-driven albums in pop. And then he disappeared. Does anyone have any other info on any of these three? Many thanks, Rick
