A little less experimentation (and fewer electronic flourishes) than his previous two solo efforts. I enjoy it because it's more of a return to his guitar-based roots/sound with early solo records. Not quite as heavy or driving as the Sugar albums, but very tuneful. His voice has become a bit ragged with age...but the songs are first-rate Mould!
