I know somebody knows this song...

I'm trying to track down a late 80's indie pop song I 
taped off college radio (back around late 88/early 89)
It sounds *exactly* like the Darling Buds...but I don't 
think it is. It's very catchy, bouncy guitar pop w/
female vocals and the chorus is..

"Does this have to mean that this should be the end..."

Any ideas? Anyone?
