hmmmmm....i remember seeing Kiss, at the same Spectrum venue in Philadelphia, on the Love Gun tour I think, maybe Rock and Rollover for that matter.....the Rockets, from Detriot opened, and to this day I remeber almost NOTHING about the show..... except for buying a t-shirt outside, waiting for my parents to pick me up, and having a cop on horseback take the shirt from me, as it was apparently a botleg shirt!! ahhh, the injustice of it all.... and of course, KISS really needed the money at that poinnt!!!! jim -----Original Message----- From: mkropp@comcast.net To: audities@smoe.org Sent: Wed, 07 Dec 2005 13:18:06 +0000 Subject: KISS I have a friend whose first-ever concert experience was seeing KISS at the Spectrum when he was 12 (this would be around 1976). He tells me that the spectacle was unreal - you know the whole KISS experience. So... when he attended his next concert (The Outlaws, or some such southern-fried band), the band was onstage in denim and flannel and he kept waiting for the "show" part. He jokes to this day that seeing KISS first spoiled him for every concert since, LOL.
