Here I go again.. 

Well said and this doesn't contradict your point. 
(Swallowing hard) I will again argue Leo's first two albums were very 
good and largely forgotten PER the fluff he recorded the mid 70's and 
on.  That is, perhaps fans of music were initially drawn to him but 
he went for something very different with "Endless Flight" and drew 
in a much larger fan base, albeit a less discerning one (IMHO).   I 
know, I've beat this drum before and I've got nothing to gain in 
doing so.  
We all have our crosses to bare.
This is mine. ;)



Question:
What is there more of: 
a)People who are very into music, seek it out, and it speaks to them 
in some way. Whatever the style is that they enjoy. 
b) People who are very casual about it and it's more like background 
music for them while they do other things. 

 I would guess the latter.  I don't say it or question it to sound 
elitist in anyway. To each their own.
