BEDSIT POETS celebrate the holiday season at THE MERCURY LOUNGE on Monday
December 12th, 9:30pm. when they play their last show of 2005.

The Bedsit Poets, comprised of Amanda Thorpe, Edward Rogers, and Mac Randall,
will be joined by Nancy Polstein on percussion, and Matt Keating on bass.

Their acid folk and shimmery pop music is stamped by the beautiful and warm
harmonies of Edward and Amanda.  Imagine Fairport Convention crossed with Belle
and Sebastian, with a touch of Serge and Jane. Haunting, tuneful, and
lyrically off-kilter...  Their debut CD, The Summer That Changed, 
just released on
Bongo Beat Records, has been receiving rave reviews.
