After a whirlwind month of music starting with a specatacular show by The Raspberries in LA, 3 amazing nights of Boston IPO and a truly wonderful benefit show put on by John Borack in Orange County (Barry Holdship 4, Sparklejets UK, Robbie Rist w/ band, Walter Clevenger - it doesn't get any better than this!!!) I can personally confirm that the power of melodic pop lives and that an Audities "community" really is out there on both coasts* that I think we should nurture and celebrate. (*I know it's out there in other areas like Chicago as well - just haven't been able to get there yet). While I'm giving thanks today for all the non-music stuff in my life I'd also like to mention some people that I am particularly grateful for and am truly honored to know. You are the people that I treat as special friends and have overwhelmingly reconfirmed Not Lame's operating motto "Good Music for GOOD PEOPLE". If you get the chance to meet any of these folks your life will be much richer for it. God Bless you all. David Bash Bruce Brodeen Jim Horan Cathy Gale John Borack Anna Borg Andrea Kremer John Hastie Joanne Hodges Jeremy Morris Ray Gianchetti Scotty Thurling Marlene Palumbo Bill Bowman And big time thanks to all of the incredible musicians I've met at shows or contacted off list over the past year(s)... you know who you are...please keep doing what you do so well. I'm looking forward to meeting lots more Audities gang in the coming year. I've found that it's definitely worth getting out there and showing your support - both to the bands, new music showcases like IPO and BPU, and to the pop labels... that are all fighting to keep bringing you great music. Hope all on Audities are having a very Happy Thanksgiving! (I recognize this is a US holiday- but the wish extends to all). JD
