I used to see him every time he came through San Francisco during that same time period, which he did often enough for a while because the Cynthia of "Cynthia Mask" fame lived there then and they were a couple. He moved to SF for a time too. A friend of mine worked at a record/book store on Judah Street in the Inner Sunset district, and every now and then Robyn would come in, eventually making his way behind the counter where he would wait on stunned customers and pontificate in his usual obfuscatory fashion. Them was the days -- er, daze. mkropp@comcast.net writes: > I haven't seen RH live in many many years, but back in the late 80's he'd come through Philadelphia every so often and I recall the shows at the Chestnut Cabaret where Robyn would tell these incredibly long and (to me) incoherent stories about fish and man, and I swear it's the closest I ever came to being on acid.
