Some how this reminds me of my "first musical heartbreak". I was very 
little (4 years old I'd guess) but I saved up cereal box tops for 
some little record of songs from the Hanna Barbara cartoon 
characters. I believe Huckleberry Hound, and the whole gang were 
singing. Wow!! Anyway, it FINALLY arrived in the mail, I was so 
exicted per it was MAIL for ME! Plus, even bigger, it was the package 
I'd waited for, for like an ETERNITY.  Yes, as I'm sure you can 
guess, I opened it and it was shattered into pieces.  I can still see 
that broken 45 in my hands. That had to be the first single I 
ever "bought". 

Life will kill ya. ;)
