I thought the same thing about Liz's performance but that has been that way for a while. When she performed Why Can't I? at the peak of that songs' popularity I noticed the same lack of range in her pipes. She can still sing but to attain those high points she seems to require "a little studio magic". This time she did not even have her guitar strapped on.
